Overview
This is a resource booking and scheduling system designed for managing shared equipment and facilities across multiple locations (Textile Shop and Wood Shop).
Main Components
1. Schedule View (Day View)
Navigation Controls

| View toggles | Switch between day, week, month, and year views |

Time Grid Features
- Time slots: Hourly intervals from 1am to 11pm
- Current time indicator: Red vertical line showing present time
- Resource list: Left column with collapsible categories
- Visual booking: Click-and-drag to create reservations

Resources are organized hierarchically by location/shop. Click the collapse icon (▽) to hide or show resource categories.
2. Resource Details View
Status Indicators

Calendar Integration
- Week view display (e.g., Nov 23-29, 2025)

- Holiday calendar integration (Alberta Holidays)
- Current day highlighted in yellow
- Time slots: 7:00 am through 9:00 pm
Holiday Awareness
The system automatically integrates regional holidays (Alberta Holidays shown in example). Booking restrictions may apply during holiday periods.
3. Access Rules Configuration
Click the ACCESS RULES button to open the configuration panel.
Rule Categories

Rule Application
"Booking rules are applied when a reservation is 'created'"
Rules are evaluated in real-time when users attempt to create bookings. Failed rule checks will prevent reservation creation with an explanatory message.

Configuration Duration

Critical Infrastructure
Components marked as "Required" (shown with red/pink badge) must be operational for the resource to be bookable. If infrastructure fails, all active bookings may be automatically cancelled.

Viewing the Schedule
- Navigate to the Schedule page
- Click Choose Resources to select specific equipment
- Use date navigation:
- Click Today for current date
- Use < > arrows to move forward/backward
- Switch views using day | week | month | year toggles
