Creating a New Request
Navigation
From the Requests list page, click the green "NEW REQUEST" button in the top-right corner.
Form Fields

Tips
Selecting a Request Type automatically assigns the appropriate participants based on your configuration.
Once completed, click the green "CREATE" button to submit your request.
Request Details View
After creation or when viewing an existing request, the interface is divided into two main panels:
Left Panel
Description Section
Displays the full request description showing the purpose and details of the request.
Related Items
Resources
- Equipment or facilities linked to this request
- Shows count badge for number of resources
- Expandable section to view all related items
Activity Section
The Activity section provides a chronological timeline with:
- All actions and updates
- Creator information and timestamp
- Comments and status changes
- Sorting options (Oldest First/Newest First)
Comment Box
Add comments and updates using the rich text editor with formatting options.
Right Panel (Details)

Participants
Requests support multiple participants who can collaborate on fulfilling the request.

Auto-Generated Requests
The system can automatically create requests in certain situations.
Configuration Change Requests
When a user selects a configuration while creating a reservation, the system automatically:
- Creates a new request
- Assigns it to the appropriate participants
- Ensures the configuration change is properly recorded and tracked
Purpose
This ensures all equipment configuration changes are documented and approved through the formal request workflow.
Communication and Collaboration
Activity Stream
The Activity section provides a complete audit trail:
- Request creation
- Status changes
- Comments and discussions
- Participant additions
- All timestamped and attributed to specific users
Commenting
Use the comment feature to:
- Ask questions
- Provide updates
- Share information
- Coordinate with participants
- Document decisions
Notifications
Administrators and assigned participants receive notifications about:
- New requests in their queue
- Status changes
- New comments
- Assignment updatess
